Running has always been a respite from the rigors of life for me, especially after running competitively for most of my youth and teens. Running through my 20's and 30's has always relied on the natural talent I had but rarely putting in the work to achieve the results that I had wanted. I decided that time was running out on many of my all time running goals as I approached 40. I worked with TJ at MTC and developed a training program to realize my marathon goal of breaking 2:40.00, which I did at NYC 2019 with a time of 2:39.58. Along the way in that same training block I also PR'd in the 5K (15:46), 10K (33:00), and Half Marathon (1:11.15). The MTC community have been such great friends/teammates and an asset and source of inspiration in supporting my training efforts.
