MeshTC (TPD 2.0 LLC) · Last updated: August 24, 2026

MeshTC, a race-production brand of TPD 2.0 LLC ("we," "us"), produces running events including the Prairie on Fire Backyard Ultra. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect participant information in connection with our events, websites (including prairieonfire.com and meshtc.com), and SMS communications.

Information we collect

When you register for one of our events (via our registration provider, e.g. UltraSignup), we receive the information you provide: name, contact details (email, mobile phone number), emergency contact, date of birth, mailing address, and event-related selections (such as shirt size and camping equipment). Participants may also voluntarily provide additional profile information such as a bio or photo.

How we use it

  • To administer the event: check-in, load-in scheduling, camping coordination, results, and safety (including emergency contact use).
  • To communicate event logistics with registered participants by email and SMS.
  • To publish race-related content such as results and participant bios connected to event coverage.

SMS / text messaging

Participants provide their mobile number during event registration and consent to receive event-related text messages (for example: load-in schedules, parking information, and check-in reminders). Message frequency varies and is highest in the weeks around an event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate our events (such as registration, timing, hosting, and messaging providers), or where required by law. Emergency contact information is accessible to race staff for participant safety.

Retention & choices

We retain participant information for event administration and historical results. To review, correct, or request deletion of your information, or with any privacy question, contact us at tj@meshtc.com.
